Introducing the 2025 Fine Cut Radical Cup UK

Radical Motorsport, the UK’s largest manufacturer of racing cars, and organisers of global Radical Cup championships, announces an exciting new partnership with the Fine Cut Group for the UK market. As a part of the agreement, the popular Radical Cup UK championship will become known for 2025 as the Fine Cut Radical Cup UK, which will see Fine Cut branding across the championship, including on all race cars and throughout the paddock and hospitality areas.

Fine Cut Group have been a long-term business partner of Radical Motorsport, supplying the Cambridgeshire, UK factory with laser cut and printed aluminium products such as the serialised dashboard and engine plates, plus the iconic domed nose badges. Managing Director Peter Tyler has been racing Radicals for many years and in 2021 saw an opportunity to create bespoke trophies for the Radical Cup championship using many of Fine Cut’s in-house processes. Fine Cut’s impressive bespoke trophies have been treasured by Radical racers every year since and expanded to include the annual Radical World Finals events starting in 2022 in Las Vegas.

The 2025 Fine Cut Radical Cup UK will be Radical’s premier UK race series, offering full factory spares and technical support, premium hospitality and levels of competition to satisfy any racer, be they a novice to the sport, or a seasoned driver. The Radical Cup series comprises of a three-race format (two sprint races and an endurance race) across two days of racing, with the past three generations of Radical SR3 welcome – the SR3 RSX, SR3 XX and current generation SR3 XXR. Also for 2025 will see the re-introduction of two-driver teams, which gives drivers the opportunity to team up and race together once again. This means they can share the cost, driving and fun with a teammate.

The 2025 Fine Cut Radical Cup UK will also welcome back long-standing partners Gusbourne ,Hankook, HRX and Sunoco, plus new partners; the Beaded Seat Company and Jordan Bespoke.

Hankook entered into a long-term global partnership with Radical Motorsport in 2018. Since then, the premium tyre maker has been exclusive original equipment supplier to the British sports car manufacturer. The Hankook Ventus Race tyre is used in both the Fine Cut Radical Cup UK and Radical Club Challenge UK.

Sunoco, arguably the largest producer of racing fuels in the world, is excited to again be the chosen fuel supplier to the Fine Cut Radical Cup UK. As part of a continuous focus on sustainability Sunoco, together with its European and Middle East distributor Anglo American Oil Company, began to introduce sustainable feedstocks into its race fuels in 2023. For the 2025 season all Radical SR3 race cars will run an FIA conformant race fuel containing 10% of renewable and sustainable components with the aim to increasing the level of sustainable components to 50% by 2026, meeting Motorsport UK’s sustainability criteria. To prove that this level of sustainability is also sustainable for the Radical race cars the Sunoco branded development Radical SR3 will run next year’s 50% sustainable fuel throughout the 2025 season.

As the market leader in bespoke and custom racewear, HRX racewear is handmade in its Italian factory to the latest FIA homologation standards to ensure the safest garments possible. On top of this, HRX racewear are able to offer bespoke designs to a race team or individual drivers’ unique style, giving customers the ability to match their Radical livery with their own personal racewear.

Gusbourne Wines has been a partner of the Radical Cup UK since 2023, with its award-winning wines focusing on the classic grape varieties of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. Gusbourne has been the celebration drink of choice for Radical drivers, as it brings together two brands with a very similar story; its Blanc de Blanc is the SR3 of the wine world – British-born and industry-defining.

The Beaded Seat Company and owner Stephen Morley make custom fitted beaded seats for racing and high-performance cars. Throughout his time, Stephen has gained a great wealth of knowledge in different driver positions and how to work with the different cars to achieve the best seating position possible.
