Motor Racing Legends Unveils Calendar for Inaugural GT3 Legends Series

Motor Racing Legends (MRL) has officially announced the calendar for its highly anticipated GT3 Legends series, which is set to debut in 2025.

Spearheaded by Jarrah Venables and MRL, the new series is designed to give a second life to GT3-spec cars that no longer comply with current racing regulations. Eligible vehicles must be homologated between 2006 and 2012, with participants encouraged to showcase period-correct liveries, adding a nostalgic touch to the grid.

The GT3 Legends series will feature three distinct classes, categorized by the cars’ age, ensuring competitive racing across a diverse field. This innovative format aims to celebrate the iconic early years of the GT3 category, which was first introduced in 2006 by Stéphane Ratel and his SRO organization.

Since its inception, GT3 has become the most successful and widely adopted GT category in modern motorsport. It has made its mark in global championships and prestigious endurance events such as the Spa 24 Hours and Bathurst 12 Hours. The series has earned a devoted following thanks to its variety of cars, distinctive sounds, and representation of legendary marques.
