About Porsche Motorsport

Porsche is currently the world’s largest race car manufacturer. Porsche regards racing as an essential part of ongoing engineering development—it was traditionally very rare for factory-entered Porsche racing cars to appear at consecutive races in the same specification. Some aspect of the car almost invariably was being developed, whether for the future race programs or as proof of concept for future road cars.

Since 2003 the Porsche Carrera Cup GB has held a place at the pinnacle of British motorsport, part of Great Britain’s premier race weekend package that attracts tens of thousands of spectators and a live TV audience measured in hundreds of thousands.

The Porsche Sprint Challenge GB is the latest championship to be added to the Porsche Motorsport GB pyramid, sitting between the Porsche Classic Boxster Cup and Porsche Carrera Cup GB. Accommodating both amateur and professional drivers alike, the championship will operate a two-category structure: Pro and Am. Both will feature on the same grid, each category will operate with its own points structure and championship table, like Porsche Carrera Cup GB.

The Porsche Club Motorsport Boxster Cup is an exciting opportunity to experience Porsche motorsport at a level that is competitive, accessible and fun, with all cars running to the same specification across a calendar of seven races in the UK.

The Porsche Club Motorsport Championship is perfect for those seeking true track competition. The racing is close and competitive but always in a friendly atmosphere. The Championship has been running for the past 20 years and holds seven, double header meetings at some of the UK’s most prestigious circuits, including Silverstone, Brands Hatch and Oulton Park.
